In a recent interview with Portal das Lutas, Graciemag.com had the English translation, Silva talks about the strategy he will take to defeat Evans as well as what a victory might mean in the UFC light-heavyweight division.
“He’s a good fighter and has his merit, but I have mine too and everyone knows what I’m about: I go in there to kill or die,” declared Silva.

“A win would put me at the front of the line, for sure. But that (a title shot) is decided by the event, I’m just an employee hoping to one day have the opportunity,” he said.
