A light-heavyweight bout between Stephan Bonnar (11-6) and Krzysztof Soszynski (18-9-1) is shaping up for the UFC’s first event in Australia at UFC 110.
MMAWeekly.com was first to report the news saying both fighters have agreed to the match with bout agreements to be signed soon.
UFC 110 has yet to be officially announced by the UFC but it is expected to take place at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia on February 21.
Bonnar was a member of the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter” where he lost in the Finale to Forrest Griffin. In his ten UFC bouts, Bonnar has gone 5-5 losing his last two matches to Mark Coleman and Jon Jones.
Soszynski is also looking to bounce back from a loss in his last bout. The Polish-Canadian fighter had a six fight win streak stopped by Brandon Vera at UFC 102. Soszynski was also a member of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season eight, winning his bout against Shane Primm at the Finale’s.
