Last Week, Chart Topper from The MMA News says (in Jeff Monson Picks Who Wins Between Couture And Lesnar.) Fighters.com did a great interview recently with “Snowman” Jeff Monson, and one of the questions he asked was about the upcoming main event fight for UFC 91:Couture vs. Lesnar. As always a candid Monson answered the question well. Here’s the quote:

Randy is one of the smartest fighters out there. Every time I have picked Randy, he always ends up winning. But, I don’t think he’s going to win this time against Lesnar.

On paper, it simply looks like a really tough fight for Randy. I don’t know how Randy wins other than gassing out Lesnar, outlasting him, and then taking it to him when he’s got him tired. But, if Lesnar is in shape, it’s a match-up nightmare for Randy.”

And James Iannotti from MMAmania.com says (in Jeff Monson vs Ricco Rodriguez fight to headline MFA show Dec. 13) At one point in his career “The Snowman” had recorded 16 straight wins, including three inside the UFC’s Octagon. His only losses since the turn of the century have come to Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Pedro Rizzo, Tim Sylvia, Ricco and Barnett.
