The Real Reason Brock Lesnar Is Sick: A Hole in His Intestine

In a very eerie story, UFC President Dana White told Yahoo! Sports today that Brock Lesnar's real reason for being out was a hole in his intestine. This is not a good thing, whatsoever. Of course, White, ever the promoter, said of Brock Lesnar's future in the Octagon: "If he's done what he's do...

Can Bobby Lashley Replace Brock Lesnar in UFC?

You may not like them, but the fact is that they are just as good or better than any other UFC Fighter, and it seems that the heavyweight division that UFC was known for is now depleted. Frank Mir, Randy Couture, and others are not the highlights of that division any longer. Brock was the big name...

UFC 106 Fight Week Previews: Luiz Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

Color Me Impressed with Michael Bisping

What's next for him is unclear at this moment. There are some tough middleweights available for him to fight. Opinion: Defrost Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell?: The UFC May Have No Other Choice

Possibilities for an opponent could include Rich Franklin, Mark Coleman, or Brandon Vera. However, if the UFC really wants a slam-dunk buy rate of over a million, they should make a quick call to their prior savior, Randy Couture. A returning Chuck Liddell may be the only option for Jan. 2.

Top 10 MMA Heavyweights

The heavyweight division is one of the most competitive weight classes in MMA. UFC 105: Couture Invents Cage'n'Pray and Coasts To Victory.

My favorite match was Ross Pearson and Aaron Riley.  Pearson showcased a level of energy and diversity in his striking that most fighters rarely attempt.  The flying knee that split Riley's head open will surely be making Ross' highlight reel and shows that he is the real deal.

UFC 105: Recap, Analysis, Looking Ahead to What's Next for Couture

Weighing In on the MMA Judging Debate

UFC 105: Coming Through In Spades

All four of Dan Hardy’s UFC bouts have been overseas and while it certainly didn’t purvey the typical face-heel dynamic last night, I don’t think it’s off-base to see Hardy/Georges St. Pierre headlining a future UK card. I’m from the school of thought that MMA needs more fighters like Hardy.

Opinion: UFC 6 and Why I Miss The Good Old Days of Tournament-Style Fighting

There were no rounds (20-minute time limits) and despite no biting or eye gouging, the UFC was proud to declare that they had "no rules." The fight reminded me of two things: First, Ken Shamrock used to be an amazing fighter and really was fun to watch.  Second, wrestlers couldn’t punch worth...

Opinion: Another Fight, Another Shocking Dissapointment for TUF10: Heavyweights

It certainly has been a surprising season of The Ultimate Fighter. It's just not delivering the type of surprises UFC President Dana White was dreaming up when he decided to fill the new season's roster with a mix of veteran and rising heavyweights.

Does Brock Lesnar's Illness Hurt The UFC?

Opinion: Rua Vs Machida Had the Best and Worst Officiating Ever?

Some people are throwing out all sorts of numbers to justify both sides.  Especially using numbers to quantify an opinion.  That is what a judgment is.  It is an educated opinion based on the evidence, in this case the fight. If MMA judging is that good, we shouldn't ever question another decis...

Opinion: Lesnar/Carwin Postponement Spotlights Major UFC Issue: Too Many Events

Opinion: What MMA Has and What Boxing Is Lacking

Opinion: UFC vs. Strikeforce: Broadcast Analysis

UFC Stephan Bonnar vs. Mark Coleman was another war, if not the most fast-paced one. Coleman can't beat a good jiu jitsu fighter with any sort of gas tank. The UFC is doing a good job of building Dan Henderson back up for a rematch against Anderson Silva.  Does Dan have a chance? Yes.

Could Brock Lesnar Possibly Defeat Fedor Emilianenko?

Touted as a natural MMA fighter, Lesnar did have a respectable run as a champion wrestler in college, which has been considered to be a springboard to becoming a champ in the UFC. Matt Hughes and Chuck Liddell are other examples of this.

Opinion: Kenny Florian on the Verge of UFC 101: Underappreciated but Undeterred

Opinion: The UFC Is So Much Better Than Advertised: One Match, New Fan

Opinion: The MMA Q & A: Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy

What one quality does an aspiring young fighter need above all others? Wanderlei Silva vs. Rich Franklin? I think it depends on Alves’ takedown defence. I don’t think GSP will want to stand there and bang with him. It’s a tough one, I’ll go with GSP by unanimous decision.

The Undisputed Review of UFC 2009 Undisputed

Fighters bruise and bleed convincingly, and the knockout physics, while somewhat over the top, are still fun to look at. In all, UFC 2009 Undisputed is the mixed martial arts game that fans of the sport have been awaiting for a long time.

UFC 2009: Undisputed Review

UFC 98 Review: Machida Wins Heavyweight Title

Evans-Machida at UFC 98 Was Almost a Reality

I Feel Sorry For Brock Lesnar

I should start by saying I think Brock Lesnar works hard enough to excel in the UFC. The concern I have is how fast he jumped into the top of the heavyweight division. He is very large, athletic, and has heavy hands which is a bonus for him. However he has very little experience in MMA.

Opinion: The UFC's Euro Bonanza and Beyond

It is not unrealistic that the UFC will segment their U.S and International operations at some point. Imagine a day when the UFC has both a U.S. light heavyweight champion and an International light heavyweight champion. They could co-promote a title fight to crown a true world champion.
