Big John McCarthy Wants You For Reality Show.

There’s yet another reality show coming to the MMA sphere, and this one’s headed by the one and only “Big” John McCarthy. McCarthy’s Ultimate Training Academy in Velncia, Califorina will host an open casting call on Monday, June 22nd at 1 PM for a new reality show entitled “MMA Legacy.”
The show will give fans a behind the scenes look at the lives of MMA people involved in the sport, and will focus not just on up and coming fighters, but ring girls, models, and MMA business side execs. The host of Human Weapon, Jason Champers will executive produce the show, and here’s a quote of what he’s looking for:

“This isn’t a competitive fight show like ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ where fighters compete for a fight contract, it’s a personality driven show about people with MMA as a backdrop that provides a common thread. We need interesting people with engaging personalities because we’ll be following them around for three to four weeks to capture their story. We intend to show them at work, on dates, as well as training.”

This is an interesting idea, it seems that they’ll try to blend hard core MMA with First Date(anyone who’s seen MMA fighter Tim Sylvia on Blind Date will wince now) with a touch of drama as every reality show needs.
