UFC Rejects M-1 Offer for Couture-Emelianenko
The UFC has apparently turned down an offer from M-1 Global to do a cross-promotional fight between UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture and Fedor Emelianenko. The news comes from Steve Sievert of The Houston Chronicle who has a direct quote from Couture himself:

Back to the Future: With A Bang
The Fight Network is reporting two things of interest in the UFC’s heavyweight division. It seems that the UFC was originally leaning on having Kongo take on fellow contender Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira but that all fell apart once Randy Couture resigned from the company.
