Billboard article: Dead By Sunrise
Billboard.com: Dead By Sunrise's debut album, "Out of Ashes," doesn't come out until Oct. 13, but frontman Chester Bennington is guaranteeing it will be a going concern, though always subject to the demands of his other band, Linkin Park. And, Bennington adds, his bandmates in Linkin Park have become his "No. 1 support group" for Dead By Sunrise. While he's preparing for "Out of Ashes' " release, however, Bennington is also in the studio with Linkin Park working on the band's fourth album. Rick Rubin is again on board as co-producer, and Bennington says the group would like to have the set out by mid-2010 but "won't put anything out until we can pull a batch of super-stellar songs together."

Linkin Park: The Making of "Minutes to Midnight"
For years, Santa Barbara filmmaker Mark Fiore has been working with Linkin Park to bring you exclusive video content from behind the scenes. Mark spent time in the studio with the band during the making of Minutes to Midnight and later produced a documentary capturing the experience. For those of you in the Santa Barbara area, we recommend that you check out the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to catch this documentary, plus a screening of “Given Up” (also directed by Mark) and “The Seed” directed by Joe Hahn. Linkin Park Cancels Asia Tour
Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their upcoming Music For Relief Concerts in Mainland China, Macau and Taipei as lead vocalist Chester Bennington has sustained a back injury and is under doctor's orders to refrain from traveling or any physical activities. Linkin Park sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. The concerts were organized as fundraisers to benefit Sichuan, an area ravaged by a devastating earthquake this past May. One of the past decade's most popular international rock bands, Linkin Park features Bennington (vocals), Shinoda (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Joe Hahn (DJ) and Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass). The group has won two Grammy Awards, for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2002 with their hit single "Crawling" and for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z in 2006 for the innovative "Numb/Encore." Recognized for their adaptation of the "nu" metal and rap rock genre into a radio-friendly style in "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora," Linkin Park explored a variety of other genres in their latest studio album, "Minutes to Midnight." A music mixer is given on the Web site and contestants are able to mix vocals, bass and chords of two Linkin Park songs to make the best remix possible. Cossio's winning entry consisted of Linkin Park songs "Crawling" and "In the End." The biggest prize for Cossio was just to have a chance to see Linkin Park live. Cossio has been a fan of Linkin Park since their break-out-hit, "In the End," came out in 2001. What appealed to me the most about Linkin Park's music are their lyrics. No matter what I'm feeling, there is always a Linkin Park song that vocalizes exactly that," Cossio said. Pubs and Clubs had this to say about the show: From the moment Linkin Park made their grand entrance with the white draped cloth exposing the stage, the atmosphere was amped, stage lights were constantly flashing and the crowd was hyped. Their delivery of a flood of hits from their three albums, ‘Hybrid Theory’, ‘Meteora’ and ‘Minutes To Midnight’ was outstanding, to say the least … although they threw in a few ballads the crowd still remained enthusiastic, showing their appreciation by chanting ‘Linkin Park’ for the majority of the set. It says a lot when the whole audience can sing the lyrics of not one but most of the songs in the set back to the band.
