The only other time I have seen this happen is when Jeremy Horn choked out Chuck Liddell with an arm triangle back at UFC 19. Chuck didn’t tap out, but he was in la la land at the end of the round; consequently, the referee called the fight.

Jeremy Horn and Rousimar Palhares’ fight consisted of Palhares throwing Horn around for 15 minutes. Horn did a great job of avoiding submission despite being in trouble for most of the fight. Palhares completely dominated and won a unamimous decision 30-27, 30-27, 30-27.

Opinion: UFC 93 Winners And Losers
Rich Franklin: Hard to call Franklin a loser being that it was a close fight. But I think this is the beginning of Franklin becoming a gatekeeper type fighter like Tito Ortiz. He can't fight Silva again and I don't see him being able to fight and beat the top 3 or 4 fighters in the LHW division.
